Geoff paints exclusively in water colour, and his subjects include landscape, seascape, architecture, and more recently portraiture.When Geoff was at school, art was the only subject at which he excelled inbut was denied a full time career in painting, by rather more realistic parents!However, upon retirement in 2002, he began to take painting seriously.He worked to develop his natural talent, with the help of local tuitionand many tutored painting holidays, both in the UK and abroad.His early influences were Edward Sego, Edward Wessen and John Yardley.Geoff joined the Devon Art Network in 2008, and took part in their open studio initiative.He is a member of both the Kingsbridge & South Hams Art Cluband the Salcombe Art Club, and exhibits at the club's spring and summer exhibitions. Geoff's work has enjoyed considerable commercial success, and he is constantly in demand for commissions.
